Former THE CROWN Bassist Abandons STOLEN POLICECAR

Former THE CROWN bassist Magnus Olsfelt has left STOLEN POLICECAR "due to lack of time and inspiration." "Of course we respect his decision and there's no hard feelings in this at all," STOLEN POLICECAR says in a statement. "Right now, though, it sure feels hard for us since we've always felt like a damn strong unit."

STOLEN POLICECAR released its long-awaited debut album, "Oh No!! It's A...Stolen Policecar", in March 2009 via Ziekte-NL. The CD was recorded and mixed at Studio MT with producer Marko Tervonen (ANGEL BLAKE, ex-THE CROWN).

Tervonen previously stated about the album: "From a producer's point of view, I must say that the album is simply phenomenal. I have always had a huge respect for Magnus as a songwriter and this time the man is fucking peaking. And the whole band is a very strong unit. We recorded 14 songs and the end result is a pretty diverse album with sounds from punk, rock, metal, Seattle... to... simply timeless rock anthems. Every damn song kills!!! And Marcus, the singer... what a great rock vocalist!
